- Western AIDS Education and Training Center and the Pacific AIDS Education and Training Center (PAETC): develop a variety of innovative HIV clinical training programs for health care providers in the states of California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawai'i, and the six U.S.-affiliated Pacific jurisdictions.
- International Training and Education Center on HIV (I-TECH): serving as the Principal Investigator for the UCSF component of the center activities, I-TECH currently is working in twelve countries and the Caribbean region.
- HRSA Twinning Center: with the American International Health Alliance the Twinning Center is designed to support twinning and volunteer activities in 15 focus countries as part of the implementation of the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. The overall goal of the Twinning Center is to strengthen the human and organizational capacity necessary to scale up and expand HIV/AIDS prevention, care, treatment, and support services within the broader context of human resource development strategies addressing the HIV/AIDS epidemics in these countries.
