Carol Dawson Rose, RN, PhD is the Nursing Coordinator for PAETC, joining the staff in April 2000. Much of her work with PAETC focuses on Faculty Development with nursing faculty throughout the region. In addition, she was our lead staff on the HRSA Corrections Demonstration Project. She continues corrections work with LPSs to increase provider training in the California State Prison system. This includes collaborating with Centerforce, a CBO providing a comprehensive system of education and support for individuals and families affected by incarceration. Carol also conducts research at the Center for AIDS Prevention Studies and she is an Assistant Adjunct Professor at the UCSF School of Nursing. Prior to joining PAETC Carol's clinical practice was in HIV hospice and home care.
