
Thomas Foster
Unit Manager
Tom Foster has more than 29 years in non-profit and healthcare planning and administration. Before joining the PAETC, he most recently worked in pediatric HIV/AIDS clinical research and prevention education at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. As PAETC Unit Manager, he is responsible for maintaining the PAETC Central Office’s (including the Center of Excellence for Transgender HIV Prevention) administrative and financial infrastructure, ensuring internal quality controls, fiscal accountability and regional and international project support. As liaison with the University of Washington for the International Training and Education Center on HIV (I-TECH), Tom supports the PAETC’s education and curriculum development work in Africa, Southeast Asia and the Caribbean. He is also PAETC’s liaison with the Department of Family & Community Medicine and UCSF.
