James Rouse Iñiguez
Program Assistant, MA

James Rouse Iñiguez, MA is the Program Assistant for the PAETC and Center of Excellence for Transgender HIV Prevention (CoE) and has recently completed his graduate training in Human Sexuality Studies at the San Francisco State University. Prior to joining the PAETC and CoE staff, he worked as a Program Assistant in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PSTD) clinical trials with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, as a Research Assistant with New Leaf: Services for Our Community, and as an Ethnographer and Research Assistant with RISE, Research on Inequality, Sexuality and Education at SFSU. As the Program Assistant of the CoE, he assists with compiling a systematic review and sythesis of existing transgender HIV prevention research and programs in CA; assists with compiling and annually updating of transgender HIV prevention literature, tools and materials; and provides administrative support for CoE staff, including communications, correspondence, scheduling, calendar, travel, supplies, and meeting logistics.
